Through extensive research into rolling efficiency and damping, as well as taking inspiration from advancements in running shoe foam and F1 tires, we have discovered that by using a SILCAthane, SILCAlon, and 3M Visco-elastic adhesive laminate instead of a single foam extrusion, significant improvements can be made to bar tape. This innovative tape offers a softer, more comfortable feel, superior wet and dry grip, improved vibration isolation, and 3-5x the durability of traditional tape materials. To ensure every aspect is perfected, we have also created a full adhesive-backed butterfly and included high grip finishing tape and expanding aluminum/composite end plugs, allowing for complete coverage of the lever clamp area without adding bulk.
