When Castelli introduced the first aero jersey for road racing in 2006, it was met with skepticism from both the public and pro riders. Traditional belief stated that aero was only necessary for TTs, and that performance clothing was focused on moisture management. However, our revolutionary Split Second jersey proved otherwise, greatly enhancing performance and transforming the look of the pro peloton. Now in its seventh iteration, the Aero Race 7.0 Jersey continues to be informed by CFD analysis and pro rider feedback for maximum aero efficiency and comfort during long rides. For those crucial moments, pairing it with our Bolero SS base layer will provide even greater aero gains.
