FUNCTIONAL
STRENGTH TRAINING

Level 1 (FS1)

The Functional Strength 1 course focuses on ensuring you develop and employ proper motor patterns.  This course uses the principles from the Functional Movement System (FMS) program.  FMS ensures you develop proper fundamental movements patterns before increasing strength. You must MOVE WELL before you can MOVE OFTEN.

Level 2 (FS2)

The focus of this program will be to build strength in the SQUAT, DEADLIFT and ROW while introducing PRESSING techniques.  You will learn different variations of these exercises while reinforcing the functional movement patterns learned in FS1.

Level 3 (FS3)

  • 8 weeks of 1 hour sessions, 1 session/week, with small groups up to 4
  • After 8 weeks participants will be equipped with adequate knowledge and experience to independently train or may be advised to continue working on movement objectives of FS2.

FST LEVEL 1 INCLUDES

  • An FMS to assess current movement patterns.
  • 8 weeks of 1 hour sessions, 1 session/week, with small groups up to 4.
  • After 8 weeks participants will be advised to progress to functional strength training level 2 or to continue working on movement objectives of FS1.

$320/8weeks

FST LEVEL 2 INCLUDES

  • 8 weeks of 1 hour sessions, 1 session/week, with small groups up to 4.
  • After 8 weeks participants will be equipped with adequate knowledge and experience to independently train or may be advised to continue working on movement objectives of FS2.

$320/8weeks

FST LEVEL 3 INCLUDES

  • 10 weeks of 1 hour sessions, 1 session/week, with small groups up to 4.
  • After 10 weeks participants will be equipped with adequate knowledge and experience to independently train or may be advised to continue working on movement objectives of FS3.

$400/10weeks
