Okanagan Road – Spring 2022

Type: Road | Number of Campers: 25
Accommodation: Riverside Motel, Penticton, BC
Fee: Single $1399, Shared $1199. Kitchenettes included.

*Bike Transport available from Calgary (fly into Penticton)

Our 16th year of our Penticton Camps!  Over 4 days of beautiful riding in the Okanagan wine country and hills!  Skills training, conditioning, group rides and support included.  3 groups of riders for all abilities.  Camp Jersey and Closing Dinner included.

Who is this for?  Riders should be able to ride over 60km or 3 hrs continuously.  Okanagan terrain is hilly with long climbs.  Expect daily ascents to be over 1000m on Sat and Sun. Road bikes recommended with tires that are 25-30c width.  3 groups/levels at avg speeds of 22, 27, 32 km/hr.  Distances range from 60-120km.

 

Thursday – 5PM flush out ride and introduction
Friday – Bike skills and 60km ride
Saturday – Long ride 80-120km options & Potluck
Sunday – Long ride 80-140km options, Banquet & Awards!
Monday – 9AM – short flush out ride

Revelstoke Mountain Bike

Fee: Single $1850, Couples $1550.

Our second year Riding in Revy!!  Hosted again at the beautiful and private Eagle Pass Lodge (EPL).  EPL is normally reserved for Heli-skiing trips but they have opened up the lodge for our camp this summer.  Based at the foot of the Mt MacPherson Trail Network, this is a mountain bike paradise.  Join us for 3 days of riding the some of best MTB trails with certified PMBIA instructors. This camp is focused on beginner to intermediate riders with emphasis on skill development and teaching. More than just riding trails!

Who is this for?  Riders should be able to ride 10km or about 90 min.  Each day will begin with teaching and practicing skills prior to ride of the day.  Mt MacPherson and Frisby Ridge will be the highlights.  Full suspension mountain bikes recommended in good working condition (come by TCR prior to).   3 groups/levels will be organized each day with their own instructor/guide.  Meals and Jersey included.
